Looking back at entire ENGvPAK Series.

 Its been a great series and finally England won the series with 1-0. It's been a long wait for 10 years since England won the series against Pakistan.

After 2010 series,

England tour of UAE 2011/12 (PAK-3, ENG-0)

England tour of UAE 2015/16 (PAK-2, ENG-0)

Pakistan tour of ENG 2016 (PAK-2, ENG-2)

Pakistan tour of ENG 2018 (PAK-1, ENG-1)

What's really costed Pakistan is the 1st Test Match, as they broke the early wickets and failed to break the partnership between Buttler and Woakes that costs the entire series.

Looking at Squads, England is definitely one of the greatest test teams with the likes of Joe Root, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad and James Anderson.

Pakistan has only experienced players like Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Safraz Ahmed, and Yasir Shah in their squads. In this series, Pakistan has opted for newcomers Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Rizwan. In English conditions, the team should consist of the best pace attack. This is not to downgrade Naseem Shah or Shaheen Afridi they are exceptional talents but they lack experience cost them in this series.

In the 1st Test, Shan Masood played one of the best innings by an opener in England. His 156(319) in that test helped PAK to post their highest score in the series 326.

When they posted a target of 277, After a brilliant start, they started collapsing after Sibley wicket and at stage 117-5, Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes posted a partnership of 139 runs and Chris Woakes 84*(120) helped England Won the 1st Test, in fact, the series.

After the 1st Test match, Pakistan tried to beat England in absence of Ben Stokes, who missed remaining tests due to family reasons. As Pakistan was in motivation to beat England, Rain took the initiative and damaged the entire match. Result: Drawn

As rain in rescue for Pakistan in order to draw the match, there are a lot of positives from the 3rd Test Match. There's a lot to talk about.

This table can speak a lot. Finally, he played one of the finest knocks as captain in 1st innings. His 141(272) is one of the best knocks by Captain said by Brain Lara. Yes it's true as there are no batsmen in the team stands still and there's no one support.

Zak Crawley 267(393) is one of the best knocks under age 23. He shows his class and aggression at No.3 and appreciated by former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly. Can he be the long term player for England at No.3? Comment below.

Jos Buttler form, 

Before resuming of cricket,

187 runs in last 10 innings at an average of 18.7 (0-50's)

After facing a lot of criticism about his form and handling gloves, Buttler replied to all by scoring 416 runs in last two series at an average of 52.00

He's the highest run-scorer after resuming cricket only behind Zak Crawley who scored 467 runs

James Anderson is the best medium pace bowler cricket has ever seen. Many people called it time for Jimmy Retirement after his performance in first 2 test matches. The 38-year-old ignored all this and continues to rise, he has taken 5-fer in 1st innings and become the 1st Pace bowler to take 600 Wickets in Test Match. What a legend "James Anderson".

Mohammad Rizwan and Jos Buttler shared Man of the Series Award.

I think Rizwan and Yasir shah underrated players in this series. Rizwan provided great support in the middle and scored 161 runs@ 40.25 Avg. Yasir Shah has taken 11 wickets in the series at an average of 33.45 as he took the job of Pace Bowlers.

Pakistan should bring back Amir in Test Matches. It's difficult to face Mohammad Amir in Test Cricket.
